Obituary For Alexander Eugene Hamilton

Alex Hamilton, 78, Rapid City, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007 at a local nursing home. He was born Oct. 20, 1928 to Alexander and Lydia Hamilton in Artas, SD. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Alex is survived by his three daughters, Jean (Robert) Evans, Cyndi Hamilton, Shelly (Larry) Binnebose, all of Rapid City; five grandchildren, Alyssa Pogany, Joshua Beaman, Brandon Beaman, Bradley Binnebose, and Jessica Binnebose all of Rapid City and 1 great grandchild, Chad Beaman of Rapid City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Hamilton. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday Sept. 27, 2007 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m., Friday Sept. 28, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Diehl officiating. Interment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery with military honors provided by the Sturgis Honor Guard.
