Audrey Ann (Muilenburg) Shimer, 90, Rapid City, died Sunday, April 19, 2020. She was born January 17, 1930 in Huron, SD to John and Emma Muilenburg. She married Wayne Shimer on January 17, 1948 and they were married for 55 years. She lived in Huron, Murdo, Rapid City and several other locations in SD. She also lived in Minneapolis, MN, Phoenix and Cottonwood, AZ. Audrey was the beloved mother of Jerolyn (Dean) Gibson and Cleo (Don) Ripley, grandmother of Noelle Ligtenberg, Adam Ripley, Justin Gibson, Angela Taylor and Danica Allmer and great grandmother of Grace, Anna, Blaise, Silas, Sadie Ligtenberg, Gideon Ripley, Aleksander, Brynn, Carter Gibson, Dakota, Drew Allmer and Dylan, Breanna Taylor and her sister Phyllis Swanson, Brandon, SD, her brother Rolland ‘Rollie’ Muilenburg, Huron. She is preceded in death by, her mother Emma and father John Muilenburg. She has gone home to be with the Lord and will be missed by all.
