Obituary For Austin M Prudich

Austin Michael Prudich, of Rapid City, passed away on September 17, 2022 in Spearfish, SD.

Austin was born in Goldboro, North Carolina to Shirley and Daniel Prudich on May 9, 1979 – the youngest of a set of twins. He attended many schools during his parents’ military travels including Croswell Elementary in Sumter, SC; Spangdahlem AFB, Germany; Peru, Indiana and lastly Douglas High School in Box Elder, SD where he graduated.

Austin excelled within every area of his numerous employments: Jewelry Designer for Coleman’s Black Hills Gold in Rapid City; Master Chief @ Perkins on Mt Rushmore St in Rapid City; and was currently employed with Ace Heating and Cooling as a HVAC technician. He enjoyed supporting numerous non-profits through Poker Runs; was a part of many motorcycle groups; and truly loved riding in the Black Hills, listening to his tunes with the freedom he experienced on the back of his bike.

Those who knew him – were greatly blessed. He was the first to show up when someone needed help, was generous, self-less, loyal and caring. He loved his family fiercely and his Cincinnati Bengals.

Austin is survived by his mother, Shirley Sutherland and his father Daniel Prudich; his twin brother, Adam Prudich and his younger brother, Marc Samuel Brejcha; his son Andrew Murphy Prudich; and his partner Valerie Prudich and her son Carter Brenden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rapid City Boys Club to honor Austin’s life.
