Bernie lived in the same Apt building I did and we would have coffee together many times. She was one sweet lady and we miss her already

Bernie was a warm, patient, and understanding person for this new teacher in 1984 and beyond at Garfield Elementary. She was so helpful to all of the staff and the students.

Bernie was a very good friend to my Aunt, Janice Williams who lived at the Alps for quite a few years. Bernie and Marge and Lois and Aunt Janice were quite the group, they had fun sharing lunches, desserts and good times. Janice moved back to MT and is in Miles City but she kept in touch with 'the girls' She was very sad to hear about Bernie's passing. Shelia Huston Sturgis

I knew Bernie through her sister, Joyce. Back in 1986 we decided to have a garage sale but didn't have a garage so Bernie and Bob kindly allowed us the use of theirs. At some point there was a slow spell and in our boredom we thought it would be funny to grab various items up for sale and pose for a picture. What a great laugh we had! RIP Bernie.

I loved playing bridge with Bernie. What a lovely, thoughtful and fun friend. Jan Dowlin
