Bernadine R. Jones was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on February 7, 1969 to Anthony Jones and Arlene (Quickbear) Saiz. She attended Rapid City area schools and Flandreau Indian School. She moved to Medford Oregon to be with her daughter but always came back to Rapid City. Bernadine made her spiritual journey on July 14, 2020. She is survived by her mother and stepfather Arlene and Juan Saiz; Siblings Cheryl Chan Puc, Kay (Kenny) Jones, Charles (Tessa) Jones all of Rapid City, Jason (Amanda) Saiz of Bossier City, LA, Lori (Martin) Rosales of Buda, TX; Sons, Derrick Jones and Ryan Jones of Rapid City, Daughter, Alyssia (Jose) Arellano of Medford, OR; Four grandchildren, Mersadies Stead and Zane Jones of Rapid city, Tristian and Aviana Arellano of Medford, OR. She is also survived by a special friend Brian Farnsworth and her Chihuahua, Rosie. She is preceded in death by her son Robert Jones and father Anthony Jones, grandmother Emma (Clifford) and Charles Jones, Chief Edward and Cornelia Quickbear, nephews Emilio Jones and Reno Whitedress Jr.
