Obituary For Blair Alan Anhorn

Blair Alan Anhorn, 60, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

He was born April 18, 1958 in Harvey, North Dakota to Albert Jacob and Alice Marie (Eberle) Anhorn. Blair was raised and educated in Harvey. He lived in various places throughout North Dakota until falling in love with the Black Hills of South Dakota. He moved to Rapid City in the early 1980’s where he has lived since. He worked for many years for Golden West and later for SCI.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed snowmobiling and four wheeling and was known for red-neck rigging just about anything.

Blair was an amazing father, grandfather and great grandfather with a heart of gold. He would drop anything to help anybody out.

He is survived by his significant other, Brenda Bonham; 4 children, Jacinta(Robert) Anhorn, Derek(Kari) Anhorn, Cherie(Trevor) Anhorn, Dylan(Jannine) Anhorn; step daughter, Melissa(Jeremy) Boehrns-Bonham; grandchildren, Rainen(Tyler), Julianna, Essence, Owen, Natalie; great grandchildren, Zaiden, Nova; parents, Alice and Adolf Lorz; siblings, Vicki(Tim) Swanson, Janell(Terry) Vetter, Cindie(Don) Greeley and several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Anhorn.
