Obituary For Bobby Earl Stickler

Bobby Earl Stickler was born on August 15, 1933 at Okatan, SD to Harley and Thelma Stickler. He passed on to that place with all joy and no pain on Sunday January 26, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. Bobby was raised on the farm and ranch of his parents. He was one of the middle siblings in a family of 9 kids. He loved his family, especially his grandkids, dancing, singing, and making people smile. During his life, he worked as a carpenter, flower deliveryman and a yodeling country crooner. Dad served many years as Treasurer of the Moose Lodge as a dedicated member. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sadie Gloria Dennis; Sister Bonnie (Lyle) Dennis; Brother Virgil (Kathy) Stickler; Daughter Cheryl (Tim) Boyd of Ft Worth, TX; Son Todd (Julie) Stickler of Omaha, NE; Son-in-law Brad Dobney of Des Moine, IA; Grandkids, Kelli Coakley, Brandon Boyer, Tamra (Mathew) Brown, Janelle (Troy) Beekman, Jason Stickler and Nick (Katie) Ball; Great-grandkids, Arika, Aliyah, Ainsley, Makayon, Eleanor, Eliza and Rylie. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Charleen Dobney who passed away in July of 2019; Parents, Harley and Thelma; Brothers Glen, Melvin, Kenny and Daryl; Sisters Isabel, Ellwanger and Hazel Foley; A special thanks goes out to his adopted neighbors Bob and Kay Dvorak, Butch and Colleen Dennis and Lyle and Bonnie Dennis and dad’s best friend Pee Wee Dennis, deceased and wife Diane.
