Obituary For Bonnie Rae Rowley

Bonnie Rae (Flynn) Rowley passed peacefully on Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at Avantara Nursing Home in Rapid City, SD.

Born January 7, 1939, to Willard and Elizabeth Randall in Missoula, Montana. She married Donald Flynn on February 8, 1955. Moved to a farm 10 miles south of Scranton, ND in 1959, and reared 5 children. Bonnie was involved with Bowman Haley Church, and Ladies Aide. Needless to say, with 5 children, she was kept very busy. She enjoyed gardening, the animals, reading, and house plants. She and Donald divorced in 1979.

She married Larry Rowley in 1980 and lived in Dickinson, ND. Bonnie continued her education at Dickinson State College and graduated in 1984 with a Nursing Degree. They eventually ended up in Rapid City SD where she enjoyed remodeling her house and her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She had a “snappy wit” and enjoyed a good laugh.

Preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, (Denny and Jerry), son Duane and Grandson Ryan. She is survived by her husband Larry, children Steve (Deb), Tom (Terrie), Donna (Roger), Darrell (Karen), step-daughter Sara, 15 Grandchildren, and 23 Great Grandchildren.
