Obituary For Bruce Allen Gay
Bruce Allen Gay, 75, Rapid City, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Regional Health Home Plus Hospice House.
He was born March 21, 1943 in Jerome, Michigan to Donald Elwood and Virl Bernice (Woodard) Gay. He was raised and educated in Denver, CO.
Bruce entered the US Air Force shortly after high school and was honorably discharged in 1960.
He married Joyce Sanders on December 21, 1974 in Longmont, CO and they moved to Rapid City in 1983.
He was a career over the road truck driver. Bruce worked for various companies, the most recent being Alton Palmer Trucking.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughters, Michelle (Gene) Russum, Jolene (Chris) Hinckley, Jennifer (Mark) Coatney and Jamie Deuter; a son, Chris LaCuran; 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son Mike LaCuran and a sister.
