Obituary For Carla Marie Evans

Carla Marie Evans, 44 of Rapid City made her journey to the spirit world on Monday September 6, 2021. Carla was born on March 27, 1977 in Hammond, Indiana to Agnes Mamie Women Dress and Paul Red Feather. Carla will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She had a crazy laugh and sense of humor that you’ll never forget. Her short-fused dynamite attitude would make you think she was 6 ft. tall, in reality she was known as half pint. She had a heart of gold who loved children and everyone was welcome in her home. She enjoyed playing dice and cards with friends and family. Carla was raised by her brother General after the passing of their mother Agnes. As she grew up, she worked various jobs and decided to be a stay-at-home mother. She lived in various places on her own which led to the birth of her two boys; Casper and J-Roc. They were the love of her life. Eventually she found her forever home in 2007 for her and the boys at Lakota Homes until her passing. Carla is survived by her children: Carliano (Casper) and Jayson (J-Roc) Evans of Rapid City. Sisters: Denise Evans of Pine Ridge, Dawn Evans of Nebraska, Tonya Evans of Tennessee. Hunka sister: Danette Martinez. Brothers: General, Jerry, John, Walter Evans all of Rapid City. Larry Wayne Evans of Scottsbluff, NE. Keith Evans of Tennessee, and Larry Boyer of Indiana. Granddaughter: Ava Bragg. Carla had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many loved ones. Carla was preceded in death by her mother Agnes Mamie Women Dress, grandmother Katherine Red Feather, sister Jackie Evans, brothers Ernie Evans Sr., Glenn Evans, niece Judy Evans.
