Obituary For Charles \'Chuck\' Ward Jager
Charles ‘Chuck’ Ward Jager, 66, Rapid City, SD passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020 in Rapid City. He was born July 22, 1953 in Pierre, SD, the 4th of 10 children, to John and Shirley (Vincent) Jager. He attended school in Gettysburg, SD. He lived there until he was united in marriage to Patty J Biley on November 6, 1971. Chuck worked several jobs in the Pierre Area until they moved to Kearney, NE in 1973. They then moved to Rapid City in 1983 where he remained. He was a Stationary Engineer at the Rapid City Energy Plant for 26 years. Chuck’s joy came from his grandchildren, billiard’s/pool and watching his boys and grandson race stock cars. Chuck is survived by his wife Patty, two boys John Jager; Kevin (Keli) Jager; three grandchildren Klayson, Kamara and Karis; his brother Mike (Cindy) Jager, Tolstoy, SD; his sisters, Gloria (Norbert) Schmidt, Spearfish; Kay Denoma, Rapid City; Dixie (Doug) Ayers, Kearney, NE; Donna (Lonnie) Mayo, Ragan, NE; Mary Ford, Sioux Falls; Wanda (Don) Myers, Kearney, NE; Vicky Hunnel, Gettyburg and Connie (Dennis) Brown, Inwood, IA and many nieces and nephews.
