Obituary For Cory Thomas Weber

Cory Thomas Weber, 45, died Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in Rapid City. He was born October 19, 1974 in Rapid City to Lawrence Frank ‘Larry’ and Constance Lou ‘Connie’ (Fawbush) Weber. Cory grew up in Rapid City where he attended Annie Tallent Elementary, South Junior High and graduated from Central High School in 1994. He went on to attend the University of Wyoming and graduated with multiple degrees in Physical Education and Exercise Physiology in 1998. While attending the University of Wyoming, Cory was a proud Founding Father of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Following graduation, Cory worked in his trained profession while living in Santa Monica, CA along with Denver, CO returning home to Rapid City to be closer to friends and family in the early 2000’s. He made an honest living in the food service industry for the next 15 years as a hard working, loyal manager for the companies, employees and customers he took care of on a daily basis. Cory had recently decided to change career fields and was very much looking forward to his new opportunities that were in front of him. Cory loved nothing more than spending quality time with his friends and family, his commitment and loyalty to the one’s closest to him was an extremely special gift and he would do anything for them. He also loved his sports the same way, his Dallas Cowboys and University of Wyoming Cowboys were at the very top of his list, you never had to guess who he was rooting for. Cory openly spoke of his timeline here being shorter than most, but the way he lived and loved was immeasurable and timeless. He is survived by his mother, Connie Weber, Rapid City; his sister, Jill (Chad) Webb, Rapid City; a nephew, Brady Holloway and a niece, Avery Webb. He was preceded in death by his father Larry Weber on September 22, 1988. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2019 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home with a gathering to follow at the Fairway Hills Party House.
