Obituary For Dallas Chase Quick Bear
Dallas Chase Quick Bear, 30, of Rapid City, South Dakota passed away on February 20, 2022 at Monument Health. Dallas was born on December 16, 1991 to Maria Gakin, step-father Fred Eagle Tail and the late Matthew Quick Bear. He has five brothers: Monte Gakin, Rico Eagle Tail, Casey Quick Bear and Kaleb Walker and the late Ty Eagle Tail and four sisters: Treasa Brave, Raeann RespectsNothing, Shiela Quick Bear and Monressa Eagle Tail. One son, Darien Quick Bear and Grandparents: Mary Red Leaf, Ron Cartier and Fern McKay and special friend, Erika American Horse and kids. Since the age of 13 Dallas lived with his adopted mother Corinne Red Bird, his brother Cedric Leclaire and his sister Vanessa Red Bird. Dallas has numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Dallas was so loved and cherished by so many. Everyone considered him “family”. Dallas attended school at North Middle School were he played football and was the life of all of his friends. He attended Central High School and later attended Jefferson Academy. Dallas loved to play sports and was very out going. Dallas will forever be remember by his smile, good humor and genuine, loving Bear hugs every time we seen him. Words cannot explain the huge loss our community is feeling and the emptiness that Dallas leaves behind. He will forever be loved and missed!
