Darlene Ruth Goehring, 58, Rapid City, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.Darlene was born December 5, 1956 in Rapid City to Donald and Della (Henderson) Cunningham. She was raised and educated in Rapid City graduating from Stevens High School. Darlene later graduated from beauty school and worked for a brief time in the industry.Darlene moved to Gillette, WY where her 2 sons where born and she was a full time homemaker. She returned to work as a hostess at Tower West Lodge in Gillette.In 2001, she moved to Chamberlain to be near her sister, Donna, and worked at the Adjustment Training Center helping individuals integrate into the community. She was the employee of the year in 2002.Darlene returned to Rapid City in 2010 to care for her parents.She enjoyed yard work, painting various crafts, caring for her pets and especially her granddaughter, Annabeth.Darlene is survived by 2 sons, Dusty and Jamie Goehring, daughter, Samantha Hanson, granddaughter, Annabeth all of Rapid City; sister, Donna Kocer, Chamberlain; brother, Doug Cunningham, Rapid City.She was preceded in death by her parents.
