It is with heavy hearts, family and friends announce the passing of David (Dave) Wessel. He was born and raised in Rapid City. Dave loved the \"Hills\", especially hunting. He had a big heart and loved hard. David was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marcella Wessel, 2 sisters, Patsy Ann (Wessel) Hager and Jean Marie Wessel. He is survived by his brother Richard Wessel, Jr., 2 nieces Melinda (Hager) Vance (Darren) and Kristy (Hager) McCollom (Dustin), and one nephew, Richard Wessel III. As well as 2 great nephews, 3 great nieces and one great, great niece. He is also survived by his longtime friend/brother Vernon (Jay) Hager and numerous extended family members and friends. We were all lucky to have shared this life with him. He will be missed deeply. A celebration of life will take place Saturday March 3rd, 2:00 PM at the Time Out Lounge.
