Obituary For David Allen Zaiser

David Zaiser, 60, passed away Friday November 13, 2020 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born July 23, 1960 in Rapid City, SD, to his late parents LaVerne H. Zaiser and Betty (Oestreich) Zaiser. David graduated from Rapid City Central High School in 1979 and received his airplane mechanics degree from Cheyenne Aero Tech in Cheyenne, Wyoming. David was a long time employee of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He truly loved his job and the many lifelong friends he made. David loved his family, his friends, all animals, camping, fishing, and sports, especially the Denver Broncos. David loved to do “projects” and we all benefited from this. He was wonderful at everything he did. David is survived by his son Justin Zaiser (Rapid City), Sister Joni Zaiser (Rapid City), Brother Kelly Zaiser and Sister-In-Law Randi Matson (Elizabethtown, PA), Sister Kathy Zaiser (Lummi Island, WA) and Sister Jeni Morris (Rapid City).; his nephews; Michael Zaiser and Troy Morris; his nieces; Kay Zaiser and Melinda Zaiser. His Aunt June Fish, several cousins and a great niece and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Dakota Zaiser, grandparents Henry and Iva Oestreich and Herb and Lillian Zaiser, uncles and aunts; Alvin and Arly Oestreich, P-Nuts and Claudette Newman and Bill Fish.

David was loved by everyone and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He showed such strength in his fight for life. We love you David.
