Obituary For Dorothy Swanson
Dorothy L Swanson was born Nov. 9, 1916 in Dakota City, NE and passed away Aug. 19, 2010 at golden Livingcenter in Rapid City. Dorothy has been a resident of Rapid City since 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy in 1996 and son John in 1997. She is survived by four children, Virginia Borresen, Hemet, CA; Daniel Plouffe, Bonita, CA; Thomas Plouffe, La Quinta, CA and Judy Snider, Waterloo, IA. She is also survived by four brothers, Harry Jr., Edward, Donald and Frank Durst. There are ten grandchildren, including Mark Borresen, Rapid City; nine great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
