Obituary For Edward McCamley

On April 24th, 2018, Edward William McCamley was called home, where he is no longer in pain.

The beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, was born on July 20th, 1932 in Onida, SD to Alfred McCamley and Marvel Barrett.

Ed served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954, where he served in the Korean War and was stationed in Germany.

Ed met his loving wife Mary in Sioux City, IA. They were married on June 16, 1979 at Faith Lutheran Church.

Ed spent the majority of his life working for NAPA auto parts stores. After he retired, he and Mary decided to make a move to Rapid City, SD where he decided to work at Menards for something to do. He worked at Menards for 15 years before deciding to retire for real.

Ed love to bowl, fish and hunt. He loved to watch deer. If it was a Friday night, you could find Ed at the bowling alley where he bowled on a league for A & R Paper Company.

Ed was very proud of all of his children and their accomplishments and had a very special place in his heart for all of his grandchildren.

Ed was very outgoing and could talk to a complete stranger and instantly make a new friend. He will be dearly missed by all of the people whose lives he touched.

Ed is preceded in death by his father Alfred, mother Marvel, brothers Marvin and Dale, daughter Tamala Ann and Sister Joyce.

Ed is survived by his wife Mary, son\'s Matthew, Brian, Dustin, Danny, Randy and Rick. Daughters Tricia, Janet, Michelle and Nicole. Brothers Bill, Jay and Jack. Sister\'s Ronda and Betty June. Ed is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
