Obituary For Elmer David Morgan

Elmer “Dave” Morgan, 86, of Rapid City passed away on September 30, 2017 in Rapid City.

Dave was born in Fairview, SD on November 28, 1930. He was married to LouElla Marie Thompson. He served in the U.S. Army and was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting and the National Rifle Association of America Club.

Dave was an avid hunter who enjoyed teaching his boys. He loved country music and enjoyed the outdoors including gardening. Wrestling and race cars were other areas of interest to Dave.

Dave is survived by his wife LouElla Morgan, and son Martin (Angela) Morgan of Rapid City, six grandchildren Marti (Louis) Ross, Tim Herstein, Marci (Jeff) Bowling, Molli Morgan, Mlendi (Rich) Marrs, and Jessica Morgan as well as 14 great grandchildren Engracia Ross, Kiersten Ross, Kimberly Ross, Tim Herstein Jr, Gabrielle Morgan, Jefferey Bowling, Jamieson Kusiek, Payton Kusiek, Bryton Kusiek, Kaydon Kusiek, Izabella Marrs, Cole Marrs, Anastasia Marrs and Jackson Morgan. He is preceded in death by son Everett Morgan, parents and his brothers and sisters.
