Obituary For Freddie Allen Wilson

Freddie Allen Wilson, 74, Rapid City, was born July 13, 1944 in Seattle, Washington to Fred Burdett and Violet Marie (Schrier) Wilson and died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his home. He was drafted into the US Army July 26, 1964 and was honorable discharged October 4, 1966.

Freddie is survived by his devoted wife Patricia (LaCroix); his sons, Vincent LaCroix, Darrin Wilson and Kevin Wilson; four grandsons, Braxton, Keigan, Taven and Bradon Wilson, One granddaughter, Kate LaCroix of Yankton; one great grandson Braylin C. LaCroix; one great granddaughter, Summer Wilson of Rapid City; his sisters Linda, Karen, Joann, Kathy and Cindy and his brothers Mike, Terry and Duane; 4 grandsons, 1 great grandson and 1 great granddaughter.

Freddie wanted everyone to remember him before all the illness took his strength. He passed at home where he wanted to be and peacefully went to sleep. He was a strong willed man that would tell it like it was, even if you didn\'t want to hear it. Trust me, he wouldn\'t give up until you heard it. He was a caring man that would give you anything he had - even his last few dollars.

He was a great brother, father, grandfather and great frandfather. He wasn\'t scared of anything or anybody for that matter - he had no fear.

He was well liked by many. He left a huge foot print in their world for being a smaller guy. He will be dearly missed, but never totally gone - as he lives on in our hearts. WHAT A GREAT MAN!
