Obituary For Glenys Elizabeth Steele
Glenys E. Steele, 80, Rapid City, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019. After a lengthy battle with cancer, she went in her sleep at home on 5th street as she wished!
Glenys is survived by her 3 sons, Mike, Mote and Mark (Barb) Steele; 3 grandsons, Mike’s boys, Tanner and Casey and his lady, Stevie, Mark’s boy, Ryan and his fiancée, Meaghan; 2 great grandbaby twins, Casey and Stevie’s children, Jett Michael and Jonnie Rae; 1 brother, Paul (Donna) Gray.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Kathryn ‘Kay’ and Glen ‘Bud’ Gray and a sister, Linda Kelly of Lafayette, LA.
Glenys impacted many lives during her 80 years! She will be missed and remembered by all!
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Grace United Methodist Church, Piedmont, SD.
Glenys asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in care of the church.
We would like to thank the great friends and neighbors that helped her and us through this! Also, we thank her doctor who went above and beyond (and still does house calls) and hospice that provided help towards the end.
