Obituary For Kevin Donovan

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kevin Donovan of Rockland on October 25, 2024 at the age of 61.

The laugh. Kevin had the best laugh. Unforgettable.

Kevin enjoyed telling stories of great times. He enjoyed Nascar races, listening to classic rock on his Mom’s CD player while working on a puzzle, hanging out at Hull Gut and, mostly, spending time with Sue. Kevin will be forever missed.

Kevin was a resident of Rockland and graduated from South Shore Vo-Tech. Kevin worked in sheet metal fabrication shops for many years and was well respected for his craftsmanship.

Kevin is survived by his partner of 30 years, Susan Ide, and his siblings: Tim and wife Diane; Deirdre (Mitchell) and husband Matt; Kenny and partner Lisa; and Brian along with nieces and nephews: Hannah, Baby Kenny, Steve and wife Lauren, Kate and husband Ross. As well as his extended family: Joan, Margaret, Joe, Cathy, Rick and David along with good friend Johnny O.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Pat Donovan along with Jim Kenworthy who was a good friend and second father to him.

A celebration of Kevin’s life is being planned for a later date.

Donations in Kevin's memory may be made to Homes for Our Troops, 6 Main Street, Taunton, MA.
