Obituary For Jennifer E Schlacht

Jennifer Elizabeth Schlacht, 43, of Black Hawk, passed away on October 12, 2021 at Monument Health in Rapid City, SD. Jennifer spent her 43 years loving and caring for the people who entered her life. She was a free spirit and loved deeply. She was sweet, kind, and beautiful inside and out. One of her favorite things was to get together with her family. She ended every conversation with “I love you.” She will always be remembered for her generosity and kindness to those in need. Her empathy, compassion and kindness to others was who she was. She loved fiercely and didn’t hold back if she had an opinion. She forgave readily. The loves of her life were her three children Andrew, Keegan and Ethan. You are her heart. She loved and was dearly loved by her parents Jane and Jeff and her brothers Josh and Ben and her sister Danielle. Her grandmothers Eva and Mary were never far from her mind. Her nieces and nephews meant the world to her Toryn, Gracie Dawn, Kailee, Alayna, and Eleanor, nephews Trevor, Trey, Trenton and Simeon, and you know she loved you. She welcomed each of her dearly loved foster brothers and sisters as her own. She had a very large number of friends who were considered brothers and sisters who called her sister. Every aunt, uncle and cousin were special to her. She was actively involved in Celebrate Recovery for several years and she loved the Hills Alive celebration which she attended each year since she was a child. She was greeted by her 7 angel babies, her 2 grandfathers and 3 cousins that were waiting for her.
