June 7, 1969- March 15, 2021 John Jensen, “Johnny Boy”, 51, of Rapid City, SD, made his spiritual journey on March 15, 2021, at Monument Health. John was fatally struck by a vehicle. John was born on June 7, 1969 to Barbara Rock and Douglas Jensen. John is survived by his children; Vanessa High Bear-Velasquez, Santana Lacey Marie Martinez, Jesse Gonzales, Shania Two Bulls, Samantha Janis, and Kyle David Bordeaux. Grandchildren; Alexander Velasquez, Eileen Velasquez, Emily Velasquez, Kaden Michael Martinez, Deven Anthony Martinez, Brooklynn Aleah Marie Houston, and Kasen Lucas Hernandez. Siblings; Tina Jensen, David Jensen and James Mack-Thompson II. He is also survived by his best friend; Lisa Flying Hawk. John was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Rock; father, Douglas Jensen; and maternal grandparents; Zachary Rock and Josephine Pawnee Leggings, and paternal grandmother; Mildred Jensen. Also his special friend; Chamblis Hope He Crow. Pallbearers will be Wallace Little IV, Raymond Red Shirt, Daniel Sierra, Jason Siers, Jamie Trueblood, Robert Trueblood III and Gene Tyon.
