Obituary For Kenneth 'Kenny' Kingsbury

Kenneth "Kenny" S. Kingsbury, 73, passed away in his sleep at home on 
Friday, September 16, 2016 in Piedmont, South Dakota. He was born January 
11, 1943 to Archie and Geneva (Anderson) Kingsbury in Martin, South Dakota. 
On September 14, 1963 he married Shirley Kingsbury in Rapid City, SD. Kenny 
enjoyed fishing, hunting, painting and fly tying. Kenny and wife Shirley 
owned and operated their family businesses in downtown Rapid City for 36
years.

Survivors include his wife Shirley; his son, Clancy (Somer) Kingsbury of
Rapid City, 3 daughters Darcy (Joe) Palmer of Spokane, WA, Lena (Walt Jr)
Swan of Rapid City, SD, Tammy (Bob) Griffith of Ames, IA; 15 grandchildren 
and 7 great grandchildren; sister Jessie Crandall of Centerville, UT, 
brother Archie "Keith" (Eva) Kingsbury of Martin, SD; as well as many 
nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Spencer Swan and 
brother-in-law Mick Crandall.
