Obituary For Larry Jay Nelson

Larry Jay Nelson, 75, was born on January 15, 1947 in Bismarck, ND. He was living in Rapid City, SD and passed away on November 25, 2022 at Ft. Meade Medical Center of cancer. He worked as an electrician until his retirement and was a dedicated union member of the local 1250 IBEW. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army while stationed in Germany.

He is survived by his life partner Ruth Englebert, their son Jesse Nelson, and three sisters: Shirley Smith, Verna Shelton, Betty Primm.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Elener Nelson, his sister Nola Zimney, and nephew Shawn Wicks.
