Obituary For Linda Carol Green

Linda Carol Quickbear Green passed away on May 21, 2020 at Rapid City Monument Hospital. Carol was born on April 6, 1948 to Edward and Cornelia Walking Bull Quickbear in Norris, SD. Carol grew up in Norris, SD and later moved to Rapid City with her family. She attended Flandreau Indian School and graduated in 1967. After high school Carol went to Haskell Indian Nations University. On April 12, 1969 she married Richard Eugene Green Sr. To this union they had 4 children Camille, Richard Jr., Melissa, and Nicholas. Carol worked her whole life at different jobs but it wasn\'t until she retired and found her true calling of sewing. She love to crochet and sew. Carol loved making star quilts and would help anyone in need of star quilt no matter what the occasion; new born baby, graduation, funeral, wedding, or just gift. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. No matter who you were Carol\'s kindness and caring heart would help anyone she came in contact with. She is survived by the love of her life of 55 years Richard Sr., daughters; Camille (Kenneth) Gill, Melissa (Miguel) Lopez, sons; Richard (Jennifer) Green Jr., Nicholas (Jennifer) Green, Matthew Quickbear, 20 grand children, 17 great-grandchildren, brother, Karmen (Carol) Quickbear, sisters; Rosemarie (Keith) McCumber, Fern McKay, Arlene (Juan) Saiz, and Irish Hesch. Proceeded by her parents; Edward and Cornelia Quickbear, brother; Duane Quickbear, sister; Peggy Siearras, and grand daughter Amaya Escobar.
