Obituary For Linda Kay Davis

Linda Kay Davis, 70, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 18, 2021. Linda was born to Betty and Toy Baker on March 2, 1951. She graduated from T. f. Riggs High School in Pierre in 1969. She then attended Stewart’s School on Hairstyling in Aberdeen, SD. Linda worked as a hairstylist, a homemaker, a CNA and a customer service associate but she lived her life for her children and grandchildren. Her family will miss her random “Hi hon” texts and she loved playing cards and had to be continually reminded of whose turn it was. She always had a cup of coffee ready and her hair appointment made for the next month. Linda is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jason Davis, her children Greg (Michelle) Davis, Brad (Candy) Davis, Justina (Jeff) Davis, Lacey (Kelly) Spradling and her grandchildren RaeDell, KC, Sean, Garrett, Brandon, Gracie and Olivia. Her great grandchildren Madi and Brecken. She is also survived by her sister Julie Jacobsen, with whom she had a very special lifelong bond, and her two brothers, Jim Baker and Dick Baker, many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends and her dog Dakota. Special thanks to Monument Home Hospice for all their assistance getting her home.
