Loyd Lee Talley (11th of 13 children) was born on February 1, 1938 in Spearfish, SD. He passed away on August 24, 2021 at 83 years old. He completed 12 grades of education in Lead, SD, graduating in 1956. He served in the US Army from 1961-1963. He worked at a lumberyard and sawmill in Hill City for 40+ years. Loyd is preceded in death by his parents W. Marie (Thompson) Talley and John C. Talley Sr.; three sisters, Flora, Edna and Marian; six brothers, John Jr., Walt, Glen, Vern, Ross and Dale; several sisters and brothers-in-law; all grandparents and aunts and uncles. Loyd is survived by his brothers Oren and Paul, sister Dorisann, numerous nephews and nieces, and his furry friend Kitty.
