I am so sad to see that Matt passed away. I enjoyed having him as a student in American Literature. He helped move our piano and we have kept in touch until the store closed. One of our favorite people.

Matt was always the type to give you the shirt off his back or to listen if you needed a caring ear. He was filled with humor, & love for his family and friends. The true definition of humble and kind. I will miss him greatly but I will also choose to celebrate him by spreading as much kindness and humor as I possibly can. All my love to the Batchelder family, my heart is heavy but with you on this day and always. ♥️ Doug, Uncle Bob, Aunt Marlene, and Alec
