Michael Allan Johnson55, Rapid City, was born November 6, 1962 to Darwin Johnson and Lenore Johnson (Wiebel) in Sioux Falls. Michael blessed us with his presence on this earth before passing away Dec 25, 2017 in his home. Michael loved living in the Black Hills and the many spoils it has to offer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends, and exploring different areas of the region with his brother Allan. He had a love of motorcycles that he shared with his brother Gary and they had taken several trips together throughout the U.S.

Michael had a vast interest in many things, but would love to talk about history and politics with his sister Debbie, and the different books they have read and shared. If you knew Michael you knew that he enjoyed life, his intelligence and quick-witted humor attracted all of those around him. He was, and will always remain faithful as a loving son to his mother Lenore and the bond between them will always remain unbreakable.

Michael enjoyed watching sports on a weekly basis. He loved to cheer on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas Jayhawks, Manchester United, and Golden State Warriors. He was passionate about life, and lived it by his rules which are admired by all.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Darwin Johnson and step-father David Wiebel. He is survived by his mother Lenore Wiebel, Rapid City: two brothers Gary (Carolyn) Johnson Topeka, KS and Allan Johnson , Rapid City; sister Debbie (Floyd) Geiken Sioux Falls; niece Madysen Johnson, Rapid City and nephew Gregory (Kim) Johnson Overland Park, KS.
