Olivia Rae Newman, 15, Rapid City, died Saturday, September 18, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash. Olivia was born March 30, 2006 in Rapid City to Raymond K. Newman, Jr. and Sara Nicole Thunder Hawk. She was currently attending Central High School as a sophomore. Olivia is survived by her father, Ray Newman, Jr.; step mother, Donna Little Thunder; brothers, Benjamin Thunder Hawk, Chris and Jordan Newman; sisters, Sonoa Mana, Erica Newman, Tara Long, Lindsey Quick Bear, Stephanie McCloskey, Chloe Thunder Hawk; paternal grandmother, Mary ‘Mama Mia’ Newman; maternal grandmother, Betty Thunder Hawk; step grandmother, Jane Newman; aunts, Barbara (Ken) Meyer, Pamela (Jim) Scott, Janet Swendy, and numerous other uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Thunder Hawk, April 17, 2011, grandfather, Ray Newman, Sr.. and aunt Lorie Waldner.
