Obituary For Patricia Ann Erickson

Patricia A. Erickson, 77, Rapid City, passed away September 27, 2018 at home. She was born March 21, 1941 to Lester and Lola (Zink) Schroeder in New Rockford, ND. Her mother remarried when she was quite young and she was raised by her mother and step-father, George Osborne.

She married Richard Krumvieda July 14, 1962. They loved to travel, visiting every state except Alaska. They rode motorcycle on several trips; boated and camped and they both loved to fish. She lost Rick to cancer March 18, 1990.

On May 30, 1992 she married Richard Erickson, the man next door. They also traveled, going to Hawaii, Australia, a three-week bus trip with three other couples, many trips to Alaska where they spent the summers in Fairbanks. She lost Dick to dementia March 11, 2009.

Pat cared for both her mother and Dick at home with the help of Hospice. She loved her family very much and wished they all lived close by.

She retired from Ellsworth AFB Exchange in 1992 where she worked in several positions over 34 years.

Pat is survived by her sister, Karen (Mick) Costantini; two brothers, Greg (Linda) Osborne and Gary Oleson; her niece Jennifer (Larry) Hagen and four nephews, Cory (Katie) Dressler; Harley (Shaylee) Osborne and Reggie and Clint Osborne; her half sister, Christine Batler; five step-children, Kevin (Barb) Krumvieda; Karen (Chris) Zuhn; Randy (Linda) Erickson; Kendra (Gary) Larson; Pam Chausee; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; great nieces Morgan Hagen; Danika, Alison and Paisley Osborne and Isabella and Emersyn Dressler. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Krumvieda and Richard Erickson; her father Lester Schroeder, step-father, George Osborne, her mother Lola Osborne and one brother Jerry Schroeder.
