Obituary For Robert Eugene Munyan

Robert Eugene Munyan, 55 of Rapid City, SD, died on February 6, 2018, at Rapid City Regional Hospital with his family by his side.

Robert is survived by his former wife Tracey Jerke, son Robert (Rob) Munyan Jr. and daughter Erica Hall; his brothers Harry Munyan, Jim Munyan, Dan Munyan, sisters Sharon Munyan and Joan Burke; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Larry Munyan and nephew Jason Burke.

Robert was born on December 25, 1962 in Thornton, Colorado to Harry and Kathleen Munyan. He had the pleasure of growing up in the beautiful Black Hills where he loved to hunt, fish and four-wheel. He graduated from Central High School in 1979. Robert was part owner/operator of Munyan Excavating LLC with his father Harry and son Rob for more than 10 years. Robert was a hard worker and a caring father and will be truly missed by many.

The family would like to thank all the medical staff who helped assist during this trying time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the Rockerville Fire Department.
