Obituary For Robert H. Corkle

Robert Corkle, Rapid City, SD age 95 died at the Hospice House of the Hills on July 16th, 2023.

Robert Harold Corkle was born on November 1, 1927 to Robert and Violet (Brown) Corkle. He graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1946 and married Shirley Ayres on September 23, 1946. They lived most of their married life in the Hot Springs area.

They had one daughter, Linda Block, Lincoln, NE. Shirley preceded them in death on June 13, 1993.

Robert married Leila Pease on September 1, 2000. They lived in Hill City and later moved to Rapid City. They were married 20 years and 3 weeks away from 21 years. Leila passed away October 2, 2020.

Bob lived at Edgewood Assisted Living in Rapid City surrounded by his wonderful friends and caregivers at Edgewood Assisted Living and his family of believers at The Little White Church in Hill City.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Block, 2 grandchildren-Christina Biggerstaff, Ceresco, NE, Randy Jensen, Omaha NE and 2 great grand children.
