Robert Loren Benham, 79, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Fountain Springs Health Care in Rapid City, SD. Robert was born in Sturgis SD to Robert O. and Ada (Canaday) Benham on February 28, 1939. He was a veteran of the US Navy working as a Seabee while stationed in Antarctica and worked many years for Riss Bros. Millwork in Rapid City, first as a master furniture builder and later a painter. He painted his prized pickups more than once. He is survived by his wife Margaret Benham, Rapid City, daughter Lynae Benham of Spearfish, son Robert of Surprise, AZ, daughter Paula (Glenn) Twiss of Rapid City, Christine Cotton of Colorado, and Ray Rosenbaum of Minnesota, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, a sister, Lorna (Richard) Tisdall of Spearfish and several nieces and nephews.

He will truly and always be loved and missed by family and friends.
