Obituary For Rose M. Whyte

Rose M. Whyte, 98, Rapid City, died Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born November 18, 1919 in Highmore to William and Mary (Billiu) Bailey. She was raised in the Highmore area and came to Rapid City at a young age. She married John W. Whyte and they remained in Rapid City.

Rose worked 10 years for Black Hills Pack and later for Rapid Valley Water Dept until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and she was an avid reader.

Rose is survived by her son-in-law Steve Stevens, her grandson Mike Stevens, 7 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Edna Mae Stevens, May 12, 2013 and her son James M Middleton.
