Obituary For Rosemary J. Wolvington
Rosemary Joyce Wolvington, 71, of Rapid City, passed away on August 2, 2023, in Rapid City.
Rosemary Joyce Wolvington was born in Chadron, Nebraska to Eugene Earl Wolvington and Mary Elizabeth O Donnell on November 26, 1951. She married John Hindman III on April 20, 1982, in Rapid City, SD. She graduated from Chadron High School and then attended Chadron State College, where she graduated with a master’s degree in accounting. Over the years, she taught at numerous local colleges starting at the National College of Business (now American University). She spent most of her life as a CPA providing personal and business expertise, at the Wolvington Business & Tax Service.
Rosemay Joyce Wolvington is survived by her spouse, John Hindman III; mother, Mary Elizabeth ODonnell Wolvington; brother, Randy (Donna) Wolvington; nephews, Patrick and his girlfriend, Margo Nelson, Robert Wolvington and committed partner, Josie, Michael Raymond (Julie Lynn) Wolvington.
Rosemary Joyce Wolvington was preceded in death by father, Eugene Earl Wolvington; and adopted daughter, Ronnell Coomes.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the Rapid Valley United Methodist Church, with Pastor Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
