Obituary For Rudolph William Busho

Rudolph William \"Rudy\" Busho, age 88, passed away on October 21, 2020, with family by his side. While he is greatly missed by family and friends, we are comforted knowing he is with the Lord and loved ones who preceded him, including his parents, Reuben Oscar Busho and Lillian (Gahagan) Busho, wife Marilyn (O\'Neil) Busho, and sister Elizabeth (Busho) Johnson.

He is survived by his son Steven Busho, Baldwin WI, daughter Katharine (Busho) and Bryce Barnard and five granddaughters, Colorado Springs, CO, and step-daughter Judy Lynn Hoppe Haack, Milwaukee, WI.

Rudy was born August 22, 1932 in Wadena, MN. He graduated from Deer Creek, MN high school in 1950. Rudy loved to travel the country, and lived and worked in many places, including California, Colorado, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. His main passion was creating things, especially from wood. He owned a craft shop in Hartford, WI and later, a woodworking company in Milwaukee. Family and friends cherish the beautiful creations he made. Rudy also had a lifelong passion for learning new things. After retiring from woodworking he worked in IT and also took up painting.

In 2001, Rudy and Lynn moved to Las Cruces NM to enjoy retirement. After Lynn passed away, Rudy moved to Rapid City to enjoy quality time with his grandchildren. He made many friends wherever he went. Rudy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his kindness and insight.

A memorial service is being planned for early November in Rapid City.
