This hits hard. From 7th grade to 12th we were tight..After high-school we lost touch but the spirit of brotherhood didn't fade. I will always appreciate the advice you gave to me in high school..R.I.P Brother "Holt" - Posted by Randy on November 8, 2023

I met Holton in the fifth grade at Westend elementary school. He was a great friend I'm gonna miss even though we lost contact over the years. I still remember the great times we had in school and as an adult after high school. My prayers are with his family and love ones. Your friend for life. - Posted by Spencer E Reeves sr on November 8, 2023

Rufus was truly an inspiration to me. He accomplished so much in a dignified and loving manner. He was a true and cherished friend to my family at Victory Chapel Church. He was also a true and faithful servant. My heart is broken as Rufus will be missed by all who knew him. - Posted by Glenda Nemec on November 8, 2023

Rufus and I served together in Japan; we retired from service on the exact same day. Even as a young NCO, he was admired for his leadership and powerfully positive impact. His personality made him someone everybody always loved being around. To his family and close friends, I wish you eventual comfort and extend my sincere sympathy on Rufus' passing - you are in my prayers. With Respect, VINCENT L.
