Obituary For Sierra M. Wright

Sierra Maria Wright was born on August 20, 1996 in Rapid City, SD to Michael J. Wright Sr., and Brenda J. Hall. Growing up Sierra attended General Beadle Elementary School, North Middle School, and Douglas High School where she then graduated in May 2013. Sierra met Tyler Dennis during her High School years they were so in love. Sierra found out she was having a baby, and she was beyond excited to be a mommy. Sierra gave birth to her first daughter Natayla Maria Dennis. Tayla lit up her Daddy and Mommy’s world. Sierra got a kick out of every little thing Tayla did and was often in Tayla’s room when she was younger helping organize doll clothes, playing with her and teaching her how to keep her room clean. Sierra became a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for a short time, which she enjoyed. However, fast pace fit her well, Management and leadership were some things Sierra took pride in while managing the restaurant she was in charge of and she thrived at it. Sierra met many requirements in her leadership role and worked very hard. During her time in Management, Sierra gave birth to her younger daughter, Kinsley Collins. Sierra referred to Kinsley as her “twin” and was so happy and proud to welcome her little girl into the world. In 2020 Sierra met her love, Gerald “Bubba” Colhoff. Sierra and Bubba lived together in Rapid City and shared many memories together. Sierra enjoyed life, she had a great sense of humor an outspoken nature, she was always loyal, gave good advice and kept it very real 100% of the time, she loved to laugh and smile, but her favorite moments in life was the time she spent with Tayla and Kinsley, she loved spending time watching them grow, they were her pride and joy. Sierra made her journey to the spirit world on December 12, 2024, peacefully at her home in Rapid City, SD. She was deeply loved by family and friends and will be dearly missed.
