Obituary For Steven E Bowser

Steven Ellis Bowser, of Rapid City, passed away on September 25th in Rapid City. Steve was born to Harold Ellis Bowser and Mary Carolyn Farmer, at Bennet Clark Memorial Hospital in Rapid City on October 6th, 1959. He graduated from Rapid City Central High School in 1978 and earned a Building Construction Diploma from Western Dakota Tech in 1979. He owned The Uniform Shop in Rapid City in the 90s, managed Toys R Us in Colorado Springs and ended his career at the Salvation Army in Rapid City as the Loading Dock Manager.

Steve was an avid hunter and firearms enthusiast. He won several awards for sharpshooting as a boy Scout and as an adult.

Steven was a kind and positive Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He is survived by two brothers: Douglas and Richard Bowser, as well as three sisters: Tricia Puebla, Janet Coyle and Kathy Bowser along with 5 Nieces and 3 Nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant sister.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the nurses and staff at Hospice Home and Monument Health as well as the Emergency Room staff.
