Obituary For Steven Earl McConnell
Steven Earl McConnell, 41, Rapid City, died Monday, May 7, 2018. Steven was born April 19, 1977 to Edward McConnell and the late Judy Big Eagle in Rapid City.
He attended grade school in the Rapid City area school district and was currently attending Western Dakota Tech in Rapid City.
Steven met Kimberly White Feather in 2005 and they were married in 2011. He was a great husband to Kimberly and a wonderful step-dad to Montana, Sydney and Devan.
Steven lived a quiet life and had a small circle of friends. He loved to be outdoors, grilling, fishing, gardening and anything to be outdoors.
Through Steven’s younger years he spent a lot of time with his aunt Lori and grandmother Lillian.
Steven is survived by his wife Kimberly White Feather; his step-children Montana, Sydney and Devan; father and step-mother Edward and Trudy McConnell; grandmother Lillian McConnell; special aunt Lori (Anthony) McConnell; uncles Patrick McConnell; Luis and Jan McConnell, Mike McConnell; sisters Beth Big Eagle and Heather Cook; brothers Gary, Jody and Jerry Big Eagle; special cousins Kevin Quick Bear McConnell and Charles (Stevie) McConnell. He is preceded in death by his son, ‘Baby Boy McConnell’; his mother Judy; uncles Elvin and Charles McConnell; his grandfather Pete Hatten and great grandmother Evelyn Valandra
