To the Connelly Family, I learned of Steve's passing from a former Byron student of mine. As his teacher and football coach I shared so many events in his life with him. We connected in his 8th grade year. When I became head football coach it was just a matter of time I would tell him as a 10th grader "I want you to be my QB". It was not easy for Steve due to his youth but I just kept telling him "Do what I ask of you and you will be fine" and he was. I cared for Steve and all his siblings. Great family due to great parents. Yes Steve struggled with the death of his dad and mom. It's not easy losing both in a short time. Thank you Steve and the Connelly family for including me into your warmth. God Bless his soul and the Connelly family. Peter Grant

It's literally breaks my heart. I'm so sorry Steve I have not reached out to you since we went to Blake Shelton concert. I have been so wrapped up in my own life I thought I would just get through the summer and reach back out on your birthday. I guess it was just too late to Circle back around. You are a dear friend to me for more than 20 years and rented my home in Sturgis for a lot of them. I bought tickets for us to go to Luke Bryan next month my heart is literally broken. Rip my friend you will be missed. Prayers to your brothers and sisters I know you had a bunch of them and you love them very much. We had many conversations because I have eight brothers and sisters and I'm third from the top. Hugs to you all I'm sure you're missing Stephen Leo! He always said Stephen Leo. - Posted by Michelle Patino on September 22, 2023
