Obituary For Tama Theresa Truax
Tama Theresa Truax was born November 15, 1958 and passed away February 4, 2025. Her service will be held on February 22, 20245 at 1:00 P.M. at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home followed by burial at Pine Lawn Cemetery.
Tama lived in the Sheridan Lake Highlands in Pennington County, Rapid City.
She was born in Mitchell, South Dakota to Mike and Doris Colvin, both deceased.
She was raised in Belle Fourche, South Dakota and Graduated high school in Hill City, South Dakota.
Tama was married for 40 years. Tama and her husband drove truck and owned a company for the last 15 years of her life.
Tama loved to fish with her husband and dog, Becky. She also loved to spend time with her family.
Tama donated yearly to Wounded Warriors and St Josephs Indian School. She enjoyed buying gifts for Toys For Tots every year.
Tama is survived by her husband Steve Truax, Brothers Michael of Florida, Pat of New Orleans, Christefer and Kurtis of Rapid City, Sisters Leona of Sioux Falls, Cristina of Rapid City and Crystal of Hill city.
Tama was loved very much and she will be missed.
