Obituary For Thelma June McNeill

Thelma June McNeill, 75, Phoenix AZ, passed away on January 11, 2018 at John C. Lincoln Medical Center in Phoenix AZ. She was born in Spearfish SD to Oliver Lydston and Lillian Thelma (Nonnast) Ainsworth on July 1, 1942. She graduated from Belle Fourche High School in 1960. On July 26, 1962, she married the love of her life, Daniel Paul McNeill, in St. Onge SD.

She worked as a bookkeeper on and off through the years, both for Danny as well as for others. Her most important and valued jobs were as Wife and Mother. Everything she ever did was grounded in love for Jesus and her family.

Thelma is survived by her children Lori (Kevin) Lewis, Rapid City, and Jim (Meredith) McNeill, Peoria, AZ; grandsons Zachary and Quinn Lewis and Daniel and Logan McNeill, sisters Linda Feist, Mary Ellen (Rick) Swanson, Judy (Vince) Guinn, sister-in-law Kathy (Bob) Garness, brother-in-law Anthony McNeill, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and multitudes of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Danny, and sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Bill Rohlf.

A celebration of her life was held January 17, 2018 at her home in Phoenix.
