Obituary For Vera Ellen Farr

Vera Ellen Farr, 92, Rapid City, died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Regional Health Home Plus Hospice. She is the daughter of Clark and Marian Heath, born October 23, 1926 in Barron, Wisconsin. She attended country school through the 8th grade and graduated from Barron High School. She was united in marriage to Neil Farr on January 19, 1947 in Barron. Neil and Vera moved to Sioux Falls in November 1948 and then to Rapid City in 1956. Vera is survived by three sons, Wayne and his wife Rita, Rapid City; Mark, Rapid City and Jeff, Spearfish; her beloved grandchildren, Jeremy, Callie and Ryan; her sisters Grace (Dallin) Roberts, Sandy, UT; brother-in-law Bill Ostrom, Rochester, MN and her brother Don (Sharon) Lindstrom, Tempe, AZ; several special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, one son, Michael, parents, stepmother Bessie Heath, two sisters, Deloris Ostrom and Hazel and her husband Eddie Hanson, an infant sister, her brothers LaVern and George, three nieces and a nephew, sister-in-law Fern Farr and her husband Glenn, sister-in-law Ruth and her husband Vern Farr. Vera was a founding member of Hope Christian Reformed Church.
