Obituary For Vickie Lynn Rick
Vickie Lynn Rick, Rapid City, on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Rapid City Regional Hospital, our beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt and nanny went to be with the Lord.Vickie was born April 28, 1957 to Harold and Pat Stoltenburg, on her dad’s birthday, in Watertown SD. She graduated from Burke High School in 1975 and married Dennis Klein. They had a daughter, Katie. In 1987, she married Dave Rick in Rapid City, SD. Over their 27 years of marriage, she and Dave lived in Wyoming, Colorado and South Dakota. Over the years, Vickie worked in several occupations and recently found her true calling as a Nanny. Vickie is survived by her daughter Katie Klein, husband Dave, parents Harold (Monica) Stoltenburg and Patricia Stoltenburg , her beloved poodle Molly and grandpuppy Annabelle, her sister Denise (Tracy) Lively all of Rapid City, SD, brother Jay (Angel) Stoltenburg, Deadwood, SD, niece Erin Wynia Snow, Rapid City, SD, nephew Kris Wynia, Belle Fourche, Eleanor Klein, Deb and Gene Larson and their children, all from Burke, SD, Dick and Joanne Klein and their children, Gillette, WY and Lori Nelson, Pierre, SD; her special friends Cole, Acacia, and Nanny’s special kids Presley and Jace Trevillyan; mother-in-law Carol Hardy Rapid City, SD, father-in-law Wesley Rick, ,Box Elder, SD and brother-in-law Andrew Rick, Rapid City, SD. Vickie enjoyed laughing, cooking, gardening, camping, serving her Lord and most importantly spending quality time with family. Oh and one last thing….. GO BRONCOS!
